South of England (1) is already a leading National Horse Trial. It has grown in size and popularity since it started 35 years ago. This event attracts a lot of the top horses and riders who are heading to Badminton the following month. From open sections down to BE100 this event accommodates upwards of 450 competitors over the two days.
The Horse Trials utilize some of the best facilities for any event within the United Kingdom from the Norlfolk Pavilion with its bar, catering and hospitality areas to the permanent on site stables.
The South of England 's cross country runs over the showground and adjoining farmland. Three separate tracks for BE 100 and Novice and Open. The BE100 and novice are suitable for young horses. A good variety of solid well built fences.
The course will be aerated and sanded for hard ground and water bowser used for show jumping area
