Jenny has been organiser of The South of England Horse Trials since this event started 35 years ago and went on to form South Eastern Equestrian Services with the late George Nolan back in 1984. She now organises both the South of England (1), International (2) and Eridge Horse Trials as well as Pony Club showjumping and many other equestrian events.
Mother of International rider Pippa Funnell and event horse owner her wealth of knowledge and expertise within the equestrian world is hard to match. Many will see her at events around the country as well as fronting the Secretarial office at Brightling Horse Trials. She has also been keeping the show jumpers in order at The South of England Show since before the Society moved to Ardingly.
Tim took over from his late father and now helps run the operations, accounting, tradestand and sponsorship side of the events. Having previously been in the hospitality business for many years he has a wealth of experience in event organisation.
Having grown up in and around horse trials earning pocket money as a child creosoting cross country fences he now finds himself some twenty years later back again creosoting fences before each event. You will also see him stewarding at other shows.
Outside of the Event organisation Tim now runs a landscaping and property maintainance business in the South East.
